Re-landscape the old brownfield site into a park

There's an old brownfield site which used to be the location of the old Somerfields which has since been demolised. It is just a empty space which is quite sad. Couldn't the council re-develop and landscape it to be a public park for the community to enjoy and use?

Why the contribution is important

Parks are great for communities as it gives people a space to come together. It gives space for children to play in and for dog walks.

I think parks are a great way to make Upper Arlen Hill a better place to live!

    I agree that the brownfield site totally needs to be used more productively.
    But perhaps it could be used for new social housing? We really do need more affordable housing here in Arlen Hill, there just isn't enough of it around.

     A new use for the brownfield site is definitely needed.
    Though aside from a park, perhaps the Council could gather in proposals from differently parties and have the community choose which one they would like to see most?
