Turn it into retail space and car parking

We should pave over the whole area and sell it off for retail, industrial estates and car parking. This could be done all at once or as a gradual bit-by-bit process. The semicircle described by midland road might also be extended through the park to connect to the A92 so that commuter traffic would be less inclined to pass through and block up the town centre.

Why the contribution is important

This used to be a place where families could go with their kids. Now it's full of tramps swiggin White Lightning and smoking weed. The only way to deal with this now that it's entrenched is to wipe the slate clean. The land would have great commercial value to Arlen Hill as a community, the sell-off would help keep the council afloat in the face of austerity, and we could additionally alleviate our severe congestion problems.

That's a bit much, isn't it? I have fond memories of spending my childhood in that park, and it would leave me and many others feeling very bereft if the park were to disappear. The green space furthermore increases property prices nearby, and contributes to better air quality.

As someone who suffers really badly from hay fever and who lives near the park but never visits it because of how overgrown it's become, I'd be supremely grateful if it were razed to the ground with fire.
